Brewer/Business Name: Gettelman Brewing Corp., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Manufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.
Date of manufacture: circa 1960s
USBC reference: 69-5 Contents/Type: 12 oz
Dimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h.
Comments/description: Very cool look to this can resulting from a misprint in the brown ink that leaves the normally solid-brown background appearing marbled. Clearly a misprint as the effect persists in the fine text of MILWAUKEE BEER below the main field. And it differs on both sides, whereas on an intentional design, the pattern/texture would be identical on both faces. The can is minty and has a new top added or replaced. About 1/3 of a rim shorter than standard. A great conversation piece. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
Cans may have minor canning dings at the rims that are not evident in photos. Larger dings that do not show will be noted in the item description. A thin black vertical reflection may show on some can photos.
