Comments/description: Tray features image #116 from the American Artworks stock catalog, THE INVITATION. A very popular design among brewers as no fewer than 69 tray designs in various formats are known to depict it. While a round pie design from Atlas is shown, this particular iteration without a large MAGNET logo at lower left is not listed on the Beer Tray Capture Project. In addition, the inner rim text on this version is a completely different presentation. All items are original unless otherwise noted. NOTE: There is restoration to the womans nose and her cheek at the center of the tray where there is a ding (or possibly repaired tiny hole). Paint/finish is dulled from oxidation and crazing while the colors remain very good - perhaps a little light but far from chalky or faded.Presents very well.
