Comments/description: This lovely sign design looks as though it could be a lamp, with its large, deep metal base and elevated glass display panels, but it is not - there is no mounting area for electric components or heat vents built into the enclosure. Looks great in its natural state and, even though not designed for it, looks even more stunning when lit from within by a modern cool-running LED fixture (not included or shown). Glass panels are outstanding, as is the main housing, including the back. The only notable degradation is to the chrome trim Deco accent pieces, all of which show oxidation and loss of plating. The bottom edge rail is dented toward the right end. A rare and intriguing piece.
