Comments/description: A portion of the proceeds from this lot will be donated to NABA. Spinner style tray includes a recessed dimple in the center on which the tray spins. Spinning at the proper speed creates the illusion of a running fox around the rim in a manner similar to a flip book. This version advertises just ALE on the face, while similar non-spinner designs promote ALE and both Ale and Beer. The spinner version is arguably the scarcest of the three. All versions are usually found with compromised cream backgrounds that have lightened to white or gray, or appear splotchy. This tray is notable in that this is not the case: the cream is quite uniform and very strong. Clean overall with a nice shine. Some foxing (no pun intended)/staining spots are visible in the background, though the most prominent compromise is a pair of nail holes in the rim edge at 9- and 3-o-clock. All items are original unless otherwise noted. For questions, feedback, or to sell a similar item contact Dan via email.
