Business Name: Ruhstaller Brewery, Sacramento, California
Manufacturer/Plant: Kaufmann & Strauss
Date of manufacture: Pre-Prohibition
Condition/Comments: Tray invites and celebrates the world coming to California for the 1915 Worlds Fair, titled the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, and held in San Francisco. The artwork is lovely, with the woman dropping yellow poppies that closely match the color of her flowing golden dress. Buildings in the background are the Expos fairgrounds. They include the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Palace of Horticulture. Some of the buildings are still standing. Some areas on the face exhibit lifting and crazing though there is virtually no loss. The rim is smooth and stable and the whole piece still shines nicely. 4.25 inch diameter. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
