Date of manufacture: circa 1940s
Condition/Comments: Absolutely HUGE 7-piece sign! Features larger-than-life Vitamin D cone top and steinie bottle, along with dancing Swiss, Austrian, or German man and woman, a pair of tankard-toasting gents, an assortment of plates and steins sitting atop the logo wooden shelf, and a large SCHLITZ logo at the center of it all. In all, it measures about 115 inches long (over 9-1/2 ft)! There is wear on some edges and corners, including some creases, yet the piece is in remarkably good condition considering its size and age. The most notable blemishes are missing or bent tops of steins, and what appears to be a piece cut from the folding tab beneath the Schlitz logo. There are, of course, staple and tack holes from hanging. Some fade to the brown wood can be seen when compared to areas where pieces overlapped that have not faded.
