Comments/description: Beautifully illustrated piece shows a world view according to Schlitz with some revisionist history and wishful thinking! Revealing each of the right-hand pages shows a full-color image of how influential Schlitz is or has been in different parts of the world, from the deep South of America, to the jungles of Africa, to the frozen Arctic. The first page, for example, shows Stanley (he of Sir Stanleys quest to find the lost Dr. Livingstone in Africa) finding a bottle of Schlitz in Darkest Africa! Flip th book over to reveal black-and-white renderings of the brewery and its many functions. The Schlitz logo at top and the belt across the center are embossed. Cool! Some warping of the cardboard and wear to the high point of the embossing and edges of the die cut. All pages have light staining at the edges but are very well preserved. The front and back covers are creased at the rivet.
