Comments/description: Beautiful, scarce sign. Difficult to tell the construction of this piece because it is framed. Our best guess is the image is silk screened onto a thin fabric that is then backed by paper stock. A fine texture visible in the black shows a fabric pattern and, whether from the substrate or evidence of the screen used to print it, the origin of the pattern is uncertain. The substrate appears to have NOT been screened and was originally gold. Marked LACQRTONE at bottom right. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Gold is darkened but all other colors are incredibly vivid. Paper has some minor kinks and bends, a few of which have cracked the ink, and a single small puncture left of the A of ABC. A small piece has been re-adhered to the top border. Very cool item. 12-1/2 w x 7-1/2 h. Sharp.
